Illumicrate Oh So Criminal Unboxing

Hi everyone! Sorry for the current lack of blogging, things are quite crazily busy for me at the moment! But I have some big and exciting blog plans and cannot WAIT to start rolling them out soon!

In the meantime, here’s my unboxing of the rather fabulous Illumicrate August box! As you all know, I ADORE Illumicrate’s boxes, and the Oh So Criminal themed box of this quarter was no exception!

 

Erm and can we please talk about how insanely GORGEOUS these new yellow boxes are?! LOVE.

 

Okay, so first up, everything was packaged so beautifully, with new tissue paper and the inside of the box proving to be just as lovely as the outside! I also love the new size-perfect for those bumper boxes packed full of goodies!

The first thing out the box was this amazing tote! Proclaiming “Villains are my Bag” (perfect. Also 12/10 agree.) The artwork is by @kdpletters, exclusively for Illumicrate, but the thing I loved most is how sturdy and great quality this tote is. One you could definitely load up with groceries. Or a TONNE of books.

 

Next up were a handful of VERY useful items! A Darkdawn nail file (you ALL need to read Nevernight ASAP if you haven’t already) with exclusive artwork by @heyatlascreative which I cannot WAIT to use. Very exciting. And a No Mourners no Funerals lanyard which is such a cool item to have! It was exclusively designed by @fableandblack and I love it!

As you all know, I am a huge candle ADDICT, so of course I was thrilled to bits to pull this gorgeous glittery candle out next! An exclusive by @elvenwickcandles, this Perfect Heist candle smells so good and I’m excited to light it the next time I want to do some hardcore scheming.

 

 

Next, we have this too funny Sirius Snacks coaster, an exclusive by @katieabey, (posing with my Sirius funko). Yes to coasters! Yes to Sirius! Yes to alllllll the HP march!

 

 

I was also very excited to find a lovely little hand mirror! Exclusively designed by @reverieandink, this Easiest Lies mirror is the perfect size to pop into your bag and is making me want to read alllll the Holly Black!

 

I also looooved this cute little necklace! An exclusive by @_down_the_rabbithole_, it says Antagonist on one side, Protagonist on the other so you can choose according to your mood! Did I realise that it was double-sided when I took this photo? No, no I did not.

 

 

Next up is this fab print! I always love getting some artwork in a box and this exclusive from @jamilamehio is the perfect complement to this quarter’s featured book!

Annnnnd the featured book was… Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas. Check out those gorgeous stained pages that were done exclusively for Illumicrate! We also got a fab bookmark to match. Perfect! I can’t wait to read this one and I’m excited to have such a lovely edition to read when I do!
